Q-ureshi's love story

All of you know my story... (Though not every aspect of it but till the point that you know its legen-(wait for it)----- dary.)... So, there isn't any point in writing my story in the article.

But, here is a small story :-

There was a ugly-looking Muslim soldier named 'Qureshi' in the army of the Roman king. He was brave, smart and good-natured. He always dreamed of ruling the nation. He played almost all the battles for the king and won the most that mattered in the wealth of country. Soon he became one of King's men. He became rich and a respectable personality in the country.

But, there was a problem with his life. He was always hated in the country because of his looks and his religion. So he decided to do everything he can to achieve the king's position. But, because of his small problem he was pulled back from his position a lot of times. He believed in the fact that if he puts enough efforts he would be able to get what he wants. So he decided to fight, till the last breathe. His good nature fed him good and trustworthy friends.

One fine day, he was walking in the premises of the castle, and he saw the beautiful princess, Merula. He fell in love with her.

"She is the princess... I stand no chance in front of her", Qureshi told his friend. "You are the best amongst the king's men, who stands a chance in front of you", replied the friend.

Foolish Qureshi believed his friend. I will not fight to be the king, but I will marry the princess- he thought. He went on, won more battles, impressed the folks and the princess. So, one day princess came and said, "Qureshi, I am in love with you".

He celebrated, and so did his friends, for the Qureshi had won which no one ever had.

and then they lived "Happily ever after".......................................................... did they?

No there was this small problem.

...

THE END.

This was a story somewhere in 1024 AD. But the problem still persists.
The words on his grave say - "I know someday you will have a beautiful life, I know you will be the sun, in somebody else's sky... But why why why can't it be mine"...

-------------------------------------

Well, that's an imaginary story.
"Love like stars above... love till you die"...
